In PEGA, as in most standard development life cycle, there is always a need to deprecate previously developed features. In PEGA world, this is done by withdrawing a rule.

Follow the steps below to withdraw a rule

1. Save the deprecated rule to the new ruleset
2. Click on [Available] next to the rule name in the top left corner
3. Change the Availability to Withdrawn
4. Check in the rule and provide comments as to why the rule is being withdrawn, include user story ID number as needed.
